We had been searching for a possible home purchase (a second home) for some time and had met a number of agents. Unfortunately everyone we met seemed to be more interested in selling us their listings with no regards to what we were looking for.
Jim Brent was introduced to us by a work associate who had an opportunity to meet Jim and got to know him well. When we first met Jim he was well prepared and had a list of properties which met our needs and our price range. Over the 8 months that we dealt with Jim (via e-mail, phone and trips down from Toronto) we appreciated his thoroughness in keeping us updated with new listing and generally what was happening to the Phoenix residential real estate market. We identified a home that met all of our wish list and ended up submitting an offer in October. The property was Bank owned and they refused to accept our offer. Jim was persistent and kept in touch with the Bank’s agent. By late November we though that we better start seriously considering other properties. Then in early December Jim called and advised that he had spoken to the Bank’s agent and the Bank was now prepared to accept our offer. We closed on the home December 28th.
