About Me
My name is Jim Brent but my friends call me Jimbo. I grew up in Arizona and have lived in the valley since 1955. Watching the valley grow over the years and buying, selling and investing in real estate since 1971 has given me a ‘boots on the ground’ understanding of the dynamic market we enjoy and the expertise you need when searching for your dream home. With that said let me tell you a little bit about how I do business. In my real estate dealings I always bring my experience in the land development business, residential real estate sales and my own personal real estate investment strategies into every transaction with the goal of helping people I work with get the home they want at the best possible price. My number one priority is actively listening to the needs (desires) of my clients and striving to fulfill their needs to the best of my ability. I promise to dedicate myself to your needs and to actively communicate throughout the buying/selling process in order to achieve the highest and best result for you.
In my business I choose to rely primarily on referrals from my clients. My goal is to earn your trust and become your realtor for life. The only way folks like you will refer your friends and family to me is if I deliver stellar service and provide effective communications. Since you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with, I choose to work with title companies, lenders, inspectors, and other service providers who deliver the same level of integrity and quality service that I hold myself to. My interest in real estate began when I earned my real estate license in 1976. Over the next 28 years I was involved in a wide range of residential and commercial land development projects both locally and nationally. Those years of experience have allowed me to bring a broad spectrum of expertise into my real estate business. Whether you’re buying a home to live in or buying for investment, Arizona real estate is still one of the best investments you can make.
My wife Rhonda and I currently reside in Mesa, Arizona. We have five children and eleven grandchildren. I have enjoyed being a part time musician all of my adult life (in my off peak hours) so I guess you could say that’s my favorite hobby (and where the nickname Jimbo began). I also enjoy an occasional game of golf. My wife works in the health care industry for Banner Health and enjoys reading and grand kids. We both love to travel. My commitment to keeping my priorities of ‘God, family and business’ in that order helps keep me grounded.
